About Me

Hello everyone, welcome to Ava Gutow photography. I have been doing photography for 5 years. I love doing portraits and landscape, but I started with photojournalism in my high school yearbook team. I’ve received an honorable mention for my photojournalism work by JEA, which is a national student journalism convention. Photography is my passion and I am excited to share my work with you all and have conversations about photography.

A lot of my work involves capturing the people and places of Santa Barbara, which I have had the privilege of being born and raised. Being raised in such a diverse place has given me such amazing opportunities to experience art, beautiful landscapes, and amazing people, all of which I encompass in my work. 

I am looking forward to making connections with my clients and traveling the country and other regions in pursuit of amazing landscapes and connecting with people!
